Studies in the Journal of the American Medical Association show that children with dogs and cats at home have a much lower risk of contracting allergies than children in homes without. Animals give protection from allergens by building up immunity to these allergens. This is why 80% of children who are allergic to cats in Sweden have never had a cat. In a study done by Warwick University in Britain, children who owned pets had stronger immune systems and took less sick days off school than those who did not. Pet owning children benefited up to 18 extra days of school than their non pet-owning counterparts. Articles in the September 7th 2002 issue of the Lancet and the September 1st 2002 issue of the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine show that children in households with cats specifically, had less asthma and wheezing than children who did not, as long as their mother did not have asthma.

Its responsible of you to take into time management and constraints. Some people just acquire it out of impulse, and when they cannot afford the time, they just rehome it, or worse, abandon it. A pet is a commitment, and a little member of the family, not just like a toy. One do not rehome their child when they gets busy right?
Anyway, its takes less than 30 mins a week to clean their cage, and 5 mins a day to handle them for bonding.. people can spend 5 mins on other bo liao things sometimes, so these people which says no time are just lame excuses..

"Those that are interested are welcome to come in" means they are welcomed to enter this thread if they are interested in this topic title and I am trying to differentiate my case from those that spam people to enter their thread with misleading topic titles.
As for what you say about this forum is not as good as mine forum, why don't you put it in another perspective: this forum is so popular and so many people comes here, that I need this forum's popularity to boost my forum's popularity
As for my thread, its an invitation to another forum which I can say is more comphrensive in the topics of pets and animals. As a pet/animal lover, I am sad to say that there are many improper care for their pets around, partly on responsibilities, partly on knowledge. Last statistics shows 1000 pets being abandoned last month! From what I gather (I might be wrong, perhaps you could enlighten me then), there are no specific pets forum around here, which is able to gather all the discussion network.
From a generic view, my forum is based solely on pets, and there would not be any crowd dispersion into my forum which will affect here even a slight deal. If my forum is another network of forums, I would admit I am totaly unethical.
I believe that the creator of this forum is based on the idea of sharing information and not on "commerial competitions"

The meaning of spam:
Junk email, often sent out in bulk and of a commercial nature
Well, this might be of commerical value in some of your point of views, but its definitely not junk. I did not hog this post in every one's thread unless those related with Pets. This is a forum, and I have posted it under a new thread under my name with an appropiate title. Only those who are interested are welcomed to come in, unlike some real spammers who post some stupid subject which are irrelevant to their content at all.
Would appreciate you get the meaning of spamming clear be it you are a moderator or member ( and if you just wanna earn your "post", perhaps its quite lame). Not trying to pick up an argument, but a debate would be fine with me. No offense

The life span of the hamsters depends very much on how well its taken care of, and their age of first litter. If first litter arrives at quite later age, life span of the female will be longer. Conversely, if the first litter arrives at the point when they are just sexually matured, they will live shorter

To be noted:
cross breed between hamsters or breed hybrids is dangerous and harmful to the hamsters, especially roboroviskii is so small and sapphire winter white is so big. The sexual organ of robos is suitable for giving birth the same breed, and if the pup happens to take after the sapphire winter white, the robo mum would have problems giving birth, resulting in hard labour, which might most probable cause death. Even if there is successful birth, the offsprings are of high mortality rate and highly infertile. If you have doubts of wad I say, perhaps can find out more from other hamster or pet websites. Since you keep hamsters, suppose you love them and had their interest at heart
As for the hamster that killed people, its not a hamster. The reporter got the facts wrong. Its actually a lemming which do resembles a winter white. The victim does not die of any virus, but due to allergy which is very rare case.
As for sapphire winter white which is the actual name. Do not add the word "blue" in as sapphire blue dwarf hamster which is given by ignorant pet shop owners as gimicks as people would mistook them as the blue campbells.
